I found a group of children in a small village, they were playing and having a good time.

I raised my camera to photograph them, and the children did not refuse, but responded enthusiastically, children are fun after all.

While shooting, I noticed a little girl who was a bit timid and just stood in a corner with her eyes wide open, looking at her peers but not joining in.

As the shooting proceeded, the children became even livelier; they laughed, shouted, and played happily, and she eventually participated.

I communicate with her and indicate that I want to photograph her.

She nodded.

The lighting condition was good; shooting in backlit, had added a glow over her shoulder.

Her eyes were tinged with a hint of shyness, but exuded a childlike innocence.

Hurriedly, I pressed the shutter.

I like to photograph children; they are true to their feelings.

As we grow older, the complexities of human nature and society have eroded that innocence, and the world is no longer as simple as black or white.

My interest in photographing children was perhaps because I was searching for the sense of innocence that had disappeared.
